Options Flow

Practical stock recovery education, risk planning, technical analysis, market intelligence, and trading discipline in one structured learning system.

🧾 Options Flow

Learn how unusual options activity can hint at market expectations, but never use it alone for recovery decisions.

1) What Options Flow Means

Options flow shows where traders are placing option bets.
Large call buying may suggest bullish interest. Large put buying may suggest bearish concern or hedging.

2) Flow Interpretation

Flow Type Possible Meaning Recovery Use
Large call buying Bullish speculation Recovery confirmation if price/volume agree
Large put buying Bearish speculation or hedge Warning sign if stock is weak
Sweep orders Urgent institutional-style activity Watch closely, but confirm with chart
High premium flow Large capital involved Can be meaningful, but not guaranteed

3) Options Flow Checklist

  • 1 Is the flow unusually large compared to normal activity?
  • 2 Is it near-term expiration or longer-term positioning?
  • 3 Does stock price confirm the direction?
  • 4 Does volume support the move?
  • 5 Do not buy only because someone bought calls.

4) Smart Recovery Rule

Options flow is supporting evidence, not the final decision.
A good recovery setup should still include price reclaim, VWAP strength, volume confirmation, support level, and controlled risk.
